Cialis

Cialis (tadalafil) is used by patients all over the world to treat male impotence. It is supposed to be taken as needed and can provide you with up to 36 hours of efficiency, although this period may be different for different people. Some drugs can interact with Cialis and cause dangerous, even life-threatening, effects. Make sure you tell your health care provider if you are using any of the following medications, as you will probably be unable to take Cialis: recreational drugs, nitrates, certain alpha-blocker medications, and nitroprusside. Other medications that are not supposed to be combined with Cialis without your doctor’s consent may include the following ones: clarithromycin, zafirlukast, rifabutin, diltiazem, efavirenz, HIV protease inhibitors, troleandomycin, amiodarone, dexamethasone, alpha blockers, erythromycin, phenobarbital, certain antifungals, ethosuximide, fluvoxamine, cyclosporine, fluoxetine, aprepitant, verapamil, phenytoin, medications for high blood pressure, delavirdine, danazol, other erectile dysfunction medications, cimetidine, and sertraline. Your doctor will ask you questions about your health condition and you will be expected to provide honest answers. Tell your doctor if you have or used to have kidney disease, congestive heart failure, stomach ulcer, liver disease, bleeding disorder, a recent history of a stroke, chest pain, physical deformity of the penis, heart disease, blood cell disorder, a history of a heart attack, high or low blood pressure, or retinitis pigmentosa. Some of these conditions can affect the dose you are prescribed while other ones can increase the risk of developing serious side effects, such as priapism and sudden vision loss. Other serious side effects that will require you to stop the treatment and consult your doctor include: sudden hearing loss, fainting, chest pain, irregular heartbeat, swelling in your hands, ankles, or feet, shortness of breath, vision changes, light-headedness, and general ill feeling. These serious side effects are extremely rare. You are more likely to get mild side effects that are short-lived, such as stomach upset, flushing, nasal stuffiness, headache, muscle pain, vision changes, back pain, dizziness, and pain in arms or legs. Some other reactions are also possible, but since they can be quite different you will need to discuss them with your doctor individually.
